The Putney Community Walk-In Health Clinic provides
health services for the uninsured and underinsured people from the Putney area.
The Walk-In Clinic is staffed by volunteer providers and assistants and is supported
by community donations. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact

The Walk-In Clinic exists under the larger umbrella of Putney Family Services, which
also sponsors the following programs:
Parenting Your Preschooler: An annual series, in collaboration
with Putney Community Day Care, of workshops/discussions for parents and children
Playgroup: A weekly gathering in collaboration with EES, for
infants to 5 year-olds and their care givers, for socialization and support among
participants
Family Friends: Year-round opportunities for volunteers to encourage
and assist families in need
Open Doors: Funded by a federal 21st Century Community
Learning Center grant, though Putney Central School. Includes:
Community classroom/apprenticeships (matches Putney 6th-8th
graders with volunteer mentors who share their work and time)
Odd jobs (provides opportunities for eager youngsters to earn money doing
chores for Putney people)
Summer recreation program (kids and adults do healthy activities with older
kids and adults, including sports, arts & crafts, and events. In collaboration
with Putney Recreation League, Putney Central School, and Putney Community Center)
After School Program/ Summer Day Camp (a safe, nurturing, and creative environment
for kindergartners through 5th graders)
Wide Horizons (individual and group tutoring with a certified teacher)
Bright Horizons (stimulating, fun, educational projects for students, families,
adults, and the community in general)
